Electrolysis vs. Laser

    According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), electrolysis is the ONLY existing permanent method of hair removal with no long-term side effects. Laser hair removal promoters use terms such as "permanent reduction" to describe what is in most cases only proven to be a temporary method of hair removal. Laser hair removal is still a relatively new science and has not been evaluated for long-term safety of skin and health. Side effects of laser hair removal are: blistering, hyper pigmentation, first degree burns, swelling, redness, pain and serious scabbing that will also result in scarring.
